We have not received funding through federal, state, or private foundations to cover the cost of providing such services.
In over 15 years in existence, we have:
Touched over 10,000 youth and families
950 free computers in the homes of 950 youth participants
Provide free tutoring to all program participants
We have reduced the recidivism rate for adolescent males reentering the prison system.
We have reduced teen pregnancy & teen violence.
We feed the Homeless in the street.
We provided toys and clothes to the needy.
We have assisted in raising the self-esteem of our male and female adolescents.

Community Outreach
The Sledge Group, Inc. teaches youth and their families, the value of community service. Our youth participate in ongoing gratifying events which serve others. For example, over the past Twelve years, they have fed the homeless in Streets on Thanksgiving Day. They have also conducted a successful toy and clothing drive during the Christmas season, generating holiday gifts which were then presented to families in homeless shelters

All children and parents in the programs must participate.

Power in Our Words
Young people have an insight on every subject that concerns them, as well as on many that they do not; yet so many times those of older generations ignore them or discard their opinions as worthless.
Their voices echo the 21st century barrage of media and social influences. If we are to guide our youth we must first listen to them.
